What brought you to Circa? I have known Tori and her husband Harrison for several years. We were neighbors when she lived in Nashville and we have kept up since her move to Michigan. Tori reached out when Lizzy decided to pursue other opportunities, and here I am!

Does pineapple belong on pizza? 100%!

Describe your dream vacation: Total relaxation…staying at a boutique eco-hotel in Tulum, sleeping in (don’t get to do that EVER with two small children), coffee on a balcony overlooking the beach, yoga, beach reads, bike rides, fresh seafood and margaritas!

Tell us a bit about your past work and education experience: I graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis with a business/accounting degree.  I am a CPA and began my career with Deloitte (in both Memphis and Nashville), moved into some consulting and corporate roles after that, and walked away from “Corporate America” last year to have more flexibility and time with my family.

What do you think is better together?  Red wine and dark chocolate!

How has design impacted your life?  My right brain comes out mostly in interior design…I am constantly updating, rearranging, and redecorating our house (drives my husband nuts but he generally loves the end result). If I could go back to school, I would definitely pursue a degree in interior design.

What do you love most about Nashville?  I love the vibrancy of the small business and start up community. I work with lots of small businesses providing accounting and finance help, and I’ve always had an entrepreneurial bug inside of me. I love being able to work with entrepreneurs on starting and growing their businesses from a numbers perspective.
